The Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries (LE), also known as the securities license exam, comprises a total of 14 examinations. It serves as a stepping stone to entering Hong Kong's financial and securities markets. Exam papers are available in computer-based examination (CBE) or paper-based examination (PBE) format. All exams are available in both Chinese and English, presented in multiple-choice question (MC) format. It is a practical and market-oriented examination. All questions are developed by experienced market professionals. There are no prerequisites for any exam and they are open to all. Examinations organized by the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI) have been recognized by local regulators and international professional organizations.

The Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE), also known as the insurance license exam, consists of 5 examination papers. These examinations are essential and mandatory for practitioners entering the insurance industry. They can be taken in computer-based or paper-based format. All exams are available in both Chinese and English. All examinations are conducted in multiple-choice question format. The primary purpose is to enable individuals interested in joining the insurance industry to start their insurance career in Hong Kong. The Insurance Authority (IA) has approved the IIQE as meeting the competency requirements for license applications for insurance agents, technical representatives, and/or responsible officers. There are currently no restrictions on registration and the exams are open to all.
地產代理資格考試（EAQE）及營業員（SQE）資格考試均是以多項選擇題方式作答。考生可在報名時選擇以中文或英文應試。地產代理資格考試為筆試模式（EAQE），而營業員資格（SQE）考試則提供筆試（PBE）及電腦應考（CBE）模式。在同一考試中的試卷有不同版本，但每個版本均載有內容相同但不同次序的題目。

The Estate Agents Qualifying Examination (EAQE) and the Salespersons Qualifying Examination (SQE) are both conducted in multiple-choice question format. Candidates can choose to take the exam in Chinese or English when registering. The EAQE is conducted in paper-based examination (PBE) format, while the SQE offers both paper-based examination (PBE) and computer-based examination (CBE) formats. There are different versions of papers within the same examination, but each version contains the same questions in a different order.
